[091205] Minho filming Dream Team in Vancouver
For those who don't know,
Dream Team is a Korean variety show where the celebrities on the show
will compete in sporting events and games. In 2009, the members of Dream
Team that came to Vancouver for the special Winter Olymipic recording
was SHINee's MinHo, Song Joong Ki, Danny Ahn, RUN, Go Ju Won, Lee Sang
In, Kim Sung Soo, and the MC was Lee Chang Myung. My fan account will be
99.9% on SHINee's Minho as he was the reason I went to go see the
recording.
On Decemeber 5th, 2009, Dream Team came to Vancouver to record for the Special Winter Olympics. I believe that they stayed in Vancouver for a couple of days to record for the show but I could only attend the first recording at the UBC War Memorial Gymnasium. This again will be a short fan account as you can see most of what happens in the actual broadcast. I will only talk about my most memorial moments.

I think I went to the
location at around seven or eight in the morning on an extremely cold
and snowy day. Sadly, we weren't allowed in until the actual production
team arrives so, about twenty of us just stayed outside in the freezing
cold. About almost an hour later, they finally open the door and let us
into the gym. We could either sit on the left side or the right side, I
chose left as there weren't as many people there. The MC, Lee Chang
Myung as seen in the picture on the right, was the first dream team
member to greet the audience. After an hour of sitting, Minho finally
showed up but we could never get a clear view of him as his manger was
glued to him. The rest of the members came in and after another hour or
so of preparing, they finally began recording.
When the MC was
introducing the members, he accidently called Choi Minho, Lee Minho.
That would have been forgivable as Lee Minho was a rapidly rising actor
in 2009, but Choi Minho had already been in ten episodes with the MC.
Another memorable moment actually doesn't have to do with Minho at all,
it actually has to do with Song Joong Ki. The MC asked the audience if
there was anyone there for any other cast member other than Minho and
then, a Joong Ki fan stood up and expressed her love for him! It was so
cute and if I could speak Korean I would have done the same.
I don't want to spoil anything but let's just say that Minho seemed really upset after something and all the fans just started chanting: "괜찮아 (gwenchana)" which means, it's alright/okay. I've always known Minho was competitive but to see it in person was a feeling I can't express. I just wanted to go up to him and hug him at that point.

Group SHINee member MinHo reveals that his ideal type of girl is KARA Goo Hara and goes a levee date with her.
The 2 had an awkward meeting on the filming set of KBS 2TV variety show ‘Invincible Youth’ on 18th November.
There was a ‘Miss Soybean Competition’ on the show, and for the filming that day, MinHo has picked Goo Hara to catch mudfish together. Even though they are of the same age, the 2 had awkward conversations. And for the whole day, they made soybeans and caught mudfish together.
Also on the show that day, there was a mudfish catching competition. There were many funny episodes where, in order to win, Goo Hara has secretly taken a mudfish with her, darted across the mud pool and fell down. There was also an episode where she did funny body gags in front of friend MinHo.

SS501 Kim HyunJoong has been chosen number 1 as the singer whom I want to give a winter scarf.
Music website Bugs held a poll ‘Who is the singer whom I want to give a gift of winter scarf to?’ and Kim HyunJoong gained the 1st place with 36% of the votes.
Kim HyunJoong has returned to his fans as a member of SS501, after recovering from H1N1. Kim HyunJoong is not only a singer, but also excels as an entertainer, taking a role with Hwangbo in MBC ‘We got married’. In addition, he acted the role of Yoon JiHoo in perfection in the popular drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’, gaining recognition for his acting.
SHINEE’s MinHo was ranked 2nd after the tough competition with Kim HyunJoong.

[091113] Eunhyuk “Minho has changed after joining in Entertainment Shows”
Super Junior Eunhyuk had said something about how Shinee Minho changed after he joining in variety shows.
On the show KBS2TV “Let’s go ! Dream team season 2″ epsidoe which
will be aired on October 25th, Eunhyuk said “Minho has changed”, “He had
been very nervous when joining in variety show for the first time. So
he had called me and asked me to teach him some variety shows’ secret
methods. However, after he attending ‘Dream team 2″, he no longer called
me”.
Minho who was embarrassed because of those words had said immediately
“Leeteuk was the one I called (so) why are you like this ?” and
expressed that Eunhyuk’s words are unfair to him.
[091110] Minho vs. Hyunjoong, ‘Go Dream Team’ Blazing Competitive Spirit
To be broadcasted on 15-Nov, KBS variety
program ‘Go Dream Team’ recorded this episode in the newly reclaimed
land SaeManGeum tide embankment. The attendance of SS501 Kim Hyun Joong
and SHINEE MinHo has gathered a lot of attention.
Kim Hyun Joong said “I am a fan of ‘Go
Dream Team’ since young, so I volunteered to participate in it.” He
displayed his strong competitive spirit during the filming.
Prior to the main competition, ‘Go Dream
Team’ had a physical/stamina test ‘Dream Physical Medal’ between the
old dream team and young dream team, where Kim Hyun Joong and MinHo
challenges in jumping over the tall vaulting stacks.
Being senior-junior in music industry,
Kim Hyun Joong and MinHo had a fierce competition and finally Minho was
able to outdo Kim Hyun Joong and won.
Meanwhile, Dream Team which comprises of
Kim Hyun Joong and MinHo in the team, challenges with firemen team who
is the winner of ‘2009 Fire Fighting Competition’, and silver medalist
of ‘2009 National Wrestling Games’.
‘Go Dream Team’’s young hero MinHo and
new joined Kim HyunJoong as well as strong rookie Run did their best to
win the competition with veteran old members Hong SeoBum, Lee SangIn and
Danny An.

On the 17th, SHINee's Minho and f(x) Krystal all showed off their beauty and walking skills.
Yep, that's right! The idol stars showed off their spectacular walking skills this weekend at the North Seoul Dream Forest Commemoration runway show.
That's not all they did though, later on they all performed along with other artists such as In Sooni, MC Mong, f(x), Brown Eyed Girls and Taegoon.

On the KBS variety show “Champagne” that broadcasted on the 26th of September, girl groups revealed their ideal types.
The night's guests were Park Gyu Ri and Han Seung Yeon from Kara, Narsha and Ga In from Brown Eyed Girls, Kim Hyun Ah and Kwon So Hyun from 4Minute, Yoo So Young and Lee Joo Yeon from After School.
The special section “dream world cup” was the focal point of that night's episode. On that episode of “Champagne," the most popular male celebrities were voted, and the top candidates were Rain, Jung YunHo and Shim ChangMin from DBSK, Kim HyunJoong from SS501, Kim HeeChul from Super Junior, Nichkhun and JaeBum from 2PM, MinHo from SHINee, G-Dragon and TOP from BigBang, etc.
Then the top four ‘Most Favourite’ were voted out from the list based on individual preferences. After voting, there were 4 of them, which are MinHo from SHINee, Jung YunHo from DBSK, JaeBum from 2PM and Rain. What was surprising was that during the voting, G-Dragon and Nichkhun lost to JaeBum.
If JaeBum and Rain were to end up as the final two, who would survive to the end and be crowned as winner?

Minho is supposed to be with Donghae. But now, Eunhyuk and Minho have
shown us some good relationship between both of them. And what is the
excatly relationship of them? Hyung and dongsaeng or just best friend? No matter which moment, it seems that Minho can't stop hugging Eunhyuk.
